Antrim Training Academy

Antrim Training Academy Antrim Training Academy (ATA) is an Ohio EMS Continuing Education (CE) Site with ACVFD. School ID: 1553. Hence, the name - Antrim Training Academy!

ATA is an Ohio EMS CEU site that also teaches ASHI CPR, First-Aid, and BLS. The Antrim Community Volunteer Fire Department decided in August of 2021, that it needed a way help provide CEUs to the members of the department. CEUs in the area were not always readily available in close proximity and the Covid Pandemic also decreased the number of opportunities for continuing education. The Fire Depart

ment decided to push forward and become a CEU training site with the State of Ohio Department of EMS. Because the State of Ohio asked for a training site name, it was decided to utilize something different then reiterating ACVFD. The Antrim Community Volunteer Fire Department's motto has always been: "Faith in God, Trust in Training." We try to honor that motto by providing trainings to help keep EMS skills up to date!

Quick reminder - there will be an EMS CE training tomorrow, Friday the 15th. This is open to all first responders, and is free as always!

I’m told that provided food tomorrow will be beef roast, potatoes, onions, and carrots. 😋

In honor of the 2026 EMS Week (May 17th - May 23rd), someone attending the class will receive a new Yeti Cup, as well as a bag of Fire Department Coffee! This prize was donated and could be yours! Come for the training, food, and possible prize! We look forward to spending the evening with you!
