Our 4th graders did an incredible job with our first-ever artist research project 🎨! Students studied Jackson Po***ck, Alden B. Dow, Alma Thomas, or Piet Mondrian and created original artwork reflecting their artist's style.

This week, students are writing personal narratives about their painting experiences. In partnership with the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio, who collaborated with us to launch this project, student artwork will be showcased during their art show dates at the Alden B. Dow Home and Studio 🏠!

Congratulations to our first "BIG" SOAR Winners of this school year! Our SOAR ticket bin was full so we got to draw our winners to visit the Super SOAR Store to choose a prize.

Thank you to our PTO for their donation to purchase the prizes! 🦅📣 We can't wait for more drawings this year!

Our 2nd graders wrapped up their CKLA Fairy Tales & Tall Tales last week with an unforgettable celebration! Students rocked custom-crafted crowns as they stepped into a world of wonder, bringing the stories and legendary characters they’ve been studying to life. 👑✨

Learning happens best when it’s joyful and interactive, and this celebration was full of magical memories that deepen reading comprehension and vocabulary in the most engaging way possible.

A giant THANK YOU to our amazing 2nd grade teachers for their intentional planning and creative vision, and to our wonderful parents for supporting this hands-on learning experience! Your partnership makes magic like this happen. 💙📚
