From Competitive and Open Play to Longest Kick and Closest to the Pin contests, the 2nd Annual NJYS FootGolf Championships delivered a memorable day of fun and friendly competition at Crystal Springs Resort! Players of all ages took to the course, with FootGolf pro Mark Woodward on hand to share a few tips along the way. ⛳

We recently hosted our second annual Every Kick Counts event, a FootGolf fundraiser sponsored by RWJBarnabas Health, bringing together 40 players, families, and volunteers to support the NJYS TOPSoccer Program. ⛳

Held at the Bel-Aire Golf Course in Wall Township, the event celebrated inclusion, community, and fun through FootGolf (a blend of soccer and golf) for players with disabilities.

Great stories deserve the next generation of great storytellers. Write on Sports alumni and rising 10th graders Mateo and Lucas put their journalism skills to work profiling longtime New Jersey soccer coach Charlie Inverso, who was recently recognized by the New Jersey Hall of Fame as an Everyday Hero.

Through Write on Sports and First Draft Academy, young writers are developing their voices, strengthening their skills and telling meaningful stories from the world of sports.

Founded by Zack Dabby, Every Kick Counts was created to raise funds and awareness for TOPSoccer, a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with mental or physical disabilities.

New Jersey Youth Soccer recently honored leaders and youth soccer players from across the state at the 2026 NJ Youth Soccer Day at the American Dream Mall.

One of the day’s most memorable moments came during the PSEG-sponsored Everyday Hero Recognition ceremony, as Charlie Inverso was recognized by the New Jersey Hall of Fame as an Everyday Hero.

Charlie Inverso was honored as a NJ Hall of Fame Everyday Hero for a lifetime of leadership, mentorship and service through soccer.

The FIFA World Cup Final brought the New Jersey soccer community together for an unforgettable day at ShoreTown Ballpark! From pregame skills and activities to watching the World Cup Final on the big screen, hundreds of young players and families celebrated the game at this event in partnership with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws and Ocean County Tourism.

NJ Youth Soccer hosted a watch party for the FIFA World Cup Final in partnership with the Jersey Shore BlueClaws at ShoreTown Ballpark.
