Family trips can bring up a lot more than packing lists and travel plans.

For children who rely on routine, predictability, or familiar supports, vacation may come with new places, new sounds, longer waits, and unexpected changes.

That does not mean the trip is not worth taking. It just means preparation can make a real difference.

Parent training does not have to feel like another thing you are expected to “get right.”

It can be a space to slow down, ask questions, talk through what is actually happening at home, and find small ways to support your child during real routines.

Some days will feel easier than others. Some strategies may need practice. Some moments may not go the way you hoped.
That is still part of the process.
