Paid Internship!
The Wilson Center (in DC) is receiving applications for summer internships with the Latin American Programs.
Description:
"The Latin America Program (LAP) seeks an intern(s) to provide general administrative and research support. The intern will gain valuable experience in a variety of projects such as conference organization, library and Internet research, assistance with the preparation of publications, and administrative assignments (data entry, proofreading, website management, event planning) in support of Center activities. Internships also provide opportunities to attend events within the Wilson Center and around Washington. Please note that this is an paid internship."
Qualifications:
"Applicants should possess an interest in, coursework related to, and/or experience working on Latin American issues, particularly political economy, trade, rule of law, migration, and social and economic development. Successful applicants should have strong research and writing skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collectively as part of group. Strong writing skills and language ability in both Spanish and English are preferred. Applicants must also be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, a recent graduate (within the last year), and/or have been accepted to enter an advanced degree program."
The Latin America Program at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars will open its application process for the Summer 2024 cycle on March 18, 2024. Internships for the Summer 2024 cycle are in person with telework flexibility for up to 1 day a week.
