🎉 MEET OUR TEAM: MIKAYLA | OUR JOY BRINGER 🎉

Meet Mikayla—a student who chooses to give some of her free time to the Fredonia Adult Day Center, and we couldn't be more grateful!

Mikayla brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a whole lot of fun wherever she goes. She has a natural ability to bring a little extra energy into the room and put smiles on the faces of our participants.

She is also a true team player, readily jumping in and becoming part of whatever is happening that day.

But perhaps the most meaningful thing about Mikayla's contribution is her willingness to simply show up and give her time. There is something pretty special about a young person choosing to invest in the lives of others.

Mikayla, thank you for sharing your time, your energy, and your joyful spirit with us. You may be a volunteer, but the impact you make is very real! 💕🎉

Here's something weird a wacky right out our back door!

Did you know that Lake Michigan features large underwater sinkholes and mysterious circular craters on its floor?
About 40 massive circular depressions sit roughly 14 miles off the coast of Sheboygan, extending toward Port Washington within the Wisconsin Shipwreck Coast. The craters lie about 400 to 450 feet beneath the lake's surface and each formation ranges from 300 to 600 feet across.

As a caregiver, Jackie brings a quiet strength and genuine kindness to Fredonia Adult Day Center. She is supportive, patient, and compassionate, and she has a beautiful way of meeting people where they are.

Jackie doesn't hesitate to go the extra mile. Whether that means offering encouragement, lending a hand, or giving someone a little extra time and attention, she understands that meaningful care often happens in the moments that aren't written down anywhere.

Her patience allows our participants to feel comfortable and supported, while her kindness helps create an environment where people feel valued for exactly who they are.

Jackie, thank you for the countless little ways you make a big difference. Your kindness is one of the things that makes our Day Center special. ❤️

Every team needs someone who brings knowledge, energy, and a watchful eye to the table—and that's Kandy!

As an owner, operator, and caregiver, Kandy is constantly balancing the many moving pieces of the Day Center. She brings energy and vitality to the room while remaining incredibly observant of the people around her.

Kandy has a gift for noticing the details that matter. And when a medical question comes up, she's often our go-to resource!

But her impact goes far beyond knowledge and expertise. Kandy invests in the people she cares for, developing genuine relationships and making sure each participant feels seen, respected, and valued.

She brings strength, compassion, and a tremendous amount of heart to her work.

Kandy, thank you for being a powerhouse for our Day Center and for the people who count on you. We are grateful for everything you bring to this team! 💕
