Reminder for Camp Students:
All students attending next week’s camp (August 10th–12th) — please note that this camp will run for three days only: Monday through Wednesday.
Reminder for All Parents:
Next week (August 10th–13th, Monday–Thursday), we will have one evening class only, from 4:30–5:30 PM.
This temporary schedule is due to students preparing to go back to school, open houses, band camp, and other activities.
Our regular evening schedule will resume on Monday, August 17th.

Congratulations to all our students who competed today! Great job!
International Martial Arts Championships in Columbus Ohio.
Paisley won 1st place in everything except a 2nd place in padded weapons.
James got first in padded weapons, weapons kata, second in sparring and open hand kata.
Luke got 2nd in weapons, kata, sparring, and 3rd in padded weapons.
Corwin got 1st place in Kata & weapon kata. 2nd place in sparring & padded weapons.
Chloe got 1st in Kata & Weapons.
Jayce won 1st place in Kata, weapons & sparring.
Audrey won 1st in weapons & Sparring and 2nd in Kata.
Dakota won 1st place in Kata, weapons and sparring.
Wyatt won 1st place in Sparring & Kata, 2nd place in Weapons and padded weapons.
Maddox on the left got all 1st place. Deagan got 1st in Padded weapons, 2nd in kata, weapons and sparring.
Lucas won 1st place in Kata, Kumite and weapons, he won 2nd place in padded weapons.
Julia won 1st in sparring, 2nd in weapons, Kata and padded weapons.
Amber won 1st in Kata, 2nd in Weapons Kata, and 2nd in Padded Weapons.

To All Parents & Students — Please Read
If you are attending the additional (final) Karate Camp from August 10th–13th, please note one important schedule change:
Camp will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
We must move the last camp day to Friday due to an appointment scheduled three months ago that cannot be changed. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to make sure everyone is aware ahead of time.
This update is not reflected on the monthly calendar, which is why we are posting it here.
If you have any questions, please ask when you come to class.

A quick reminder:
Grappling is this Sunday, August 2nd, from 2–4 PM with Doug Benavides.
Quinn’s Black Belt Test will be held on Saturday, August 8th
at 2 PM.
Mr. Tarr would like all green belts and higher to attend.
We have added an additional Karate Camp from August 10th–13th (Monday–Thursday), running 9:30 AM–3:30 PM. If you are interested in signing up, please let Mr. Tarr know. You can reach him at (567) 241‑2648.
Beginning Monday, August 17th, all students are required to attend class in full uniform with their belt.

Quinn got 2nd place in weapons, 3rd place in forms, 4th in flag sparring, 2nd place in sparring and 2nd in chambara. Paisley got 4 1st place and one 2nd place trophy. Jayce got two 1st place and two 2nd place trophies! Maddox got 1st in Kata, 1st in Weapons,
2nd in Padded Weapons,
2nd in Tag Team Sparring,and 4th in Sparring.
