Mrs. Morgan's Computer Science Class is celebrating Computer Science Education Week (Dec 6-12) by joining in on The Hour of Code
We live in a world surrounded by technology, and we know that whatever field our students choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding how technology works. Only a fraction of us are learning how technology works. That’s why our Computer Science class is joining in on the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (December 6-12). More than 100 million students worldwide have already tried an Hour of Code.

Thank you and great job to our MS Student Council and sponsors (Erin Beyer and Tait Klein) for donating and wrapping Christmas Gifts for the patients of WHS and Waynesburg Nursing Home.

For patients who end up in the hospital for Christmas, missing the celebrations can make their illness or injury feel more miserable.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is the first day of school for the 21-22 School year. Masks are recommended, but not required. However, masks are required on all school transportation. Breakfast and lunch are both no charge again this year. Looking forward to kicking off the year tomorrow! Mr. Just

Good afternoon! Hopefully everyone is soaking up the last few days of summer before school starts back up. Below are some important upcoming dates.

8/18/21- 6th Grade Orientation at the Middle School 6-7 pm
8/19/21- Kindergarten Orientation at the Elementary school 6-7:30
8/20/21- Homerooms and bus information will be posted both online and on school doors. (Must know your student's ID #- call the school if they do not remember it)
8/24/21- Back to School Night for K-8 6-7:30

As of today at the the orientations and Back to School Night masks will be recommended, but optional.

6th Grade Orientation- Wednesday August 18, 6 pm at the Middle School.

Kindergarten Orientation- Thursday August 19, 6 pm at the Elementary School.

1st Day of school for students- Thursday August 26, 2021.

We are excited to announce that we are proudly partnering with UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to hold a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic. It will be held on Wednesday August 4, from 4 pm - 6pm at the High School. All students and community members over the age of 12 in the Beth-Center School District are eligible. Please see the attached flyer and permission slip.
