Dear future UMW Social Media Intern,
I am the very first of our kind… so naturally I must leave behind a list of things I’ve learnt and some guidelines, for you:
1) Make sure to go to your meetings with Nellie. Take your time talking… Nellie likes to chit chat and catch up.
2) If Laughlin happens to get upset at you, for being too noisy across the hall— bring him a cookie. Professor Laughlin, is a fan of chocolate chip cookies, (but any cookie will do.)
3) If Jason comes by Nellie’s office, during your meeting— it’s mandatory you show him a funny meme.
4) Allow yourself to have fun. Ask for help if you’re stressed. (This department loves to help with anything.) Rest assured, everything is working out in your favor.
5) Be creative! Experiment! Take big risks! Do what ever makes you happiest, around the ones who support you the most! 🎨💕
