UMW team tests the waters — literally — with weekly coliform monitoring along Rappahannock | Fredericksburg Free Press Two University of Mary Washington students lower a pole into the Rappahannock River at City Dock. They collect a cupful of water and pour it into a small bottle. Next, another device is lowered into the river to measure dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH and salinity.

We've been blessed with some truly beautiful weather on campus the past few days! 🌞 The 5-week June/July summer term begins on Monday, June 22nd. There are over 30 sections of classes--mostly online--being offered during this session including ACCT 102, BLAW 201, CLAS 105, CPSC 110, DATA 101, FINC 301, MATH 122, PHIL 225, SOCG 105, STAT 180, and other courses in Art History (Pop Art to the Present), Modern Foreign Languages (World on a Plate), and Psychology (Infant and Child Development; Psychology of Personality).

Today is the last day to add a May/June 5-Week Summer Class. May/June 5-Week classes began this week and run through Thursday, June 18th. UMW Baseball (RV) Selected to the NCAA Tournament in Baltimore - University of Mary Washington The University of Mary Washington baseball team (RV) earned an at-large bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament on Monday morning, the NCAA announced in its selection show. The Eagles are heading to Baltimore, Md. in a pod with the Johns Hopkins, Pfeiffer, and Pomona-Pitzer.
