At Art Time 4 Kids’ Summer Art Camp, kids love bright colors, messy hands, and lots of new friends! 😍🌈🎨🫶🏽

On June 1st, after twelve years of building Art Time 4 Kids, I will be selling this thriving business to my capable teacher Julia Migliaccio. She has been the face of the elementary classes and many more programs over the last five years! I love this photo more than the more formal poses captured for the Women in Business exhibit for Fred Mainstreet, because this is what an art educator and business owner looks like. Too bad Maggie Wilder with Aunt Magg's Photography didn't capture a photo of me cleaning utility sinks, mowing my outdoor space, or setting up folding tables! Of course I will miss being a business owner... but I now get to do the best part: show up to teach the middle school and high school art classes. I look forward to giving the older students the attention they deserve in the coming year. I can't wait to see what Ms. Julia accomplishes in the future with Art Time 4 Kids.

This was a “warm-up” to creating our Mother’s Day monoprints: preschoolers practice controlling their artistic marks by using sticks, fingers, or both hands in a tray full of shaving cream! “Art from the Start” classes are fun for 2 to 5 years olds, and all of us grown-ups too. 😊🦙
