Looking back at our first classes, our original studio, and the dancers who believed in us from the very start fills our hearts with gratitude.

What started as a dream has grown into a thriving dance family, serving hundreds of dancers and creating countless memories, friendships, and achievements along the way.

To every student, parent, instructor, volunteer, alumni, and supporter who has been part of our story—thank you. Your trust and support have made the last decade possible.

Our 2026 seniors took part in one of our favorite VDC traditions by added their handprints to our senior studio wall.🩵

It’s such a special moment each year because it marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. While our seniors may be graduating, their handprints will always be here as a reminder of the memories they made, the friendships they built, and the impact they had on our studio.

We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see where life takes you next. Once a VDC dancer, always a VDC dancer.

Our last senior spotlight, Krisztina 🩵

Krisztina, you are truly such a talented and beautiful dancer inside and out. Over the years, you have inspired so many people with not only your dancing, but your kindness, patience, and heart. You are always the first to help, always there for any dance, and always making the younger dancers feel included and loved. Having you in the studio has been such a joy.

This one is especially emotional for us because Krisztina was one of the very first students ever registered when we opened our doors in 2016. We have had the honor of watching her grow from a little dancer into the amazing young woman she is today. Seeing your growth, dedication, and passion throughout the years has meant more to us than words can explain.

While it is so hard to imagine the studio without you, we are beyond proud of you and so excited for the beautiful future waiting ahead. No matter where life takes you, you will always be a part of our studio family. Thank you for growing with us, trusting us, and leaving such a special mark on our hearts.

We love you so much, Krisztina, and cannot wait to watch you shine in this next chapter. ✨🩵

I’m excited to begin my next chapter at Germanna Community College and later transfer to Virginia Tech while carrying these lessons with me into the future. I am so grateful for all the years I’ve spent dancing and for everything it has taught me both on and off the stage. Dance has shaped me into the person I am today and given me memories and friendships I’ll cherish forever🩵
