As a reminder, our summer office hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Thursday.

Our schools and offices are closed on Fridays.

Our in-person hours are 8am to 4pm, while virtual office hours begin at 7am and continue until 5pm.

📚🐊 Summer reading just got even more exciting!

Reading Is Fundamental, in partnership with O'Reilly Auto Parts, generously donated 200 reading kits to GWES! Each kit included three books geared toward K-2 readers, a bookmark featuring positive quotes, a foam O'Reilly racing car, and a fun coloring activity.

We were thrilled to send these kits home with our 1st and 2nd grade students as part of their summer reading materials. Thank you to Reading Is Fundamental and O'Reilly Auto Parts for helping inspire a love of reading and learning beyond the classroom! 💚

Ms. Saleh's class enjoyed a special visit from Delegate Cole for a read-aloud of Farm Boots! 📚👢

Students had a wonderful time listening to the story and then showing their creativity by coloring their own boot pictures afterward. Activities like these help bring stories to life and make reading even more fun!

Small routines can make a big difference in supporting mental wellness all summer long. 💚

A few weeks ago, our Bike Bus rolled through with 12 students, 5 teachers, and 2 future Gators riding along! 🚲🐊💚

After conquering the big Lafayette hill, we were treated to a much-needed sugar boost thanks to Paul’s Bakery 🍩✨ Thank you for supporting our riders and helping make the morning extra sweet!

We loved seeing the teamwork, smiles, and school spirit along the way, and we’re hoping to do even more Bike Bus rides next school year!
