Prayer Card St. Joseph
To thee, O blessed Joseph, do we come in our tribulation, and having implored the help of thy most holy Spouse, we confidently invoke thy patronage also. Through that charity which bound thee to the Immaculate Virgin Mother of God and through the paternal love with which thou embraced the Child Jesus, we humbly beg thee to graciously regard the inheritance which Jesus Christ has purchased by his Blood, and with thy power and strength to aid us in our necessities. Most watchful guardian of the Holy Family, protect the chosen people of Jesus Christ; keep far from us, most loving father, all blight of error and corruption; mercifully assist us from heaven, most mighty defender, in this our conflict with the powers of darkness; and even as of old thou did rescue the Child Jesus from the supreme peril of His life, so now defend Holy Church from the snares of the enemy and all adversity. Keep us one and all under thy continual protection, that supported by thy example and assistance, we may be enabled to lead a holy life, die a happy death, and come at last to the possession of everlasting blessedness in heaven. Amen.

Prayer to St. Agatha, Patron Saint of Breast Cancer
Saint Agatha, blessed virgin and martyr.
You are honored as the patron of breast cancer.
You suffered pain and torture in your devotion to the Lord.

Protect me from breast cancer
and intervene before God Almighty,
and pray for me so that I may be cured.
Heal me and comfort me, and mercifully
grant me protection from all cancer.

Saint Agatha, pray for me.

Amen.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Prayer Card St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is discord, harmony; where there is error, truth; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

We look forward to seeing our Holy Cross Academy families at the St. Mary Parish Picnic next Saturday. It’s always a joy to gather as one community—sharing food, fellowship, and the simple blessing of time together. Events like this strengthen the bonds that make our parish and school family so special, and we are grateful for every opportunity to grow in friendship and faith.
