Tournament day on Sunday. Told my partner it would be a tough one and we needed to fish clean. So what did I do? Lost two on the way to or at the boat. Missed a couple others. šŸ¤¬
I did catch this nice crappie on a Pop X and may have missed a couple others. I think this is a first for me.

Back at it today but different body of water. On the Rapp today. Caught 5 but needed a kicker so ended up in 4th place and out of the money. Pop X putting the work in along with the Zoom Super Hog. Tried other baits but nothing. Fished a lot of new water today and still caught a limit. Tough day for lots of teams. Summer fishing.......

Club team tournament on the Potomac today. Leading today but two day event so someone can catch them tomorrow and take the lead. Lots of skinny fish on the river this time of year. What were 4+ lb fish in the spring now weigh 3lbs and some change. Weights are down in the bigger team tournaments but that's typical this time of year. Water is warm and the fish's metabolism is high. They have to feed to keep the weight on.

Snakehead was a blast to catch. Poor man's tarpon. This one took off and launched.....
