What a wonderful week it has been here at Rocky Run! We’re taking a moment to celebrate the learning, growth, friendships, and accomplishments that made these first few weeks special. 📚

Kindergarten transition day was absolutely perfect today! Helping our new Bulldogs enter Rocky Run, guiding them throughout the classrooms and building, seeing them make new friends and get excited for the school year, made all our Bulldog hearts so happy! ❤️🐾📚

Rocky Run Open House was a hit!! 🙌📚

We welcomed our new students with open arms, GEICO donated backpacks filled with supplies, our PTO brought amazing Bulldog swag, teachers and staff were beaming with joy meeting new students and Rocky made his rounds making our Bulldogs feel right at home! 🐾❤️😍

Shout out to our amazing Library crew, Mrs.Bylund & Mrs.Kazzie!! These sweet ladies visited Braehead Farm and picked the most beautiful flowers for our staff. We're so grateful for their generosity! 🌸🌼🌺

This is one of our favorite traditions here at Rocky Run, to put together a special bouquet to kick start a blooming, great year! 💐

Our Open House event is tomorrow (Thursday, Aug. 6) here at Rocky Run Elementary! Times are as follows:

* Last names A-M = 5PM-6PM

* Last names N-Z = 6PM-7PM

ParentVUE: The app has been updated! You DO NOT need a new account. When prompted, choose “Already Activated” if you have an existing account. Use your login credentials to access the new app. To access your student’s placement and information, you must click begin registration AND complete the annual verification for each child enrolled in Stafford County Public Schools. Please attempt to access ParentVUE prior to Open House. If you can not, we will have staff available tomorrow to share your child's placement information.

Our Kindergarten Ice Cream Social was a hit! 🍦

Our future Bulldogs signed their names, met Rocky & enjoyed a scavenger hunt and ice cream! We can’t wait to see all the Pawsitive things they’ll do this year! ✏️ 🐾
