Yesterday was a special day at Rocky Run Elementary as we welcomed back former students for our Senior Walk celebration! 🎓💙

It was inspiring to see our graduating seniors walk the halls where their journey began, greeted with cheers, smiles, and high-fives from our current students and their previous teachers. Watching these accomplished young adults return, reminds us that once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!! 🐾

We are so proud of all you have achieved and cannot wait to see the amazing things your future holds. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎉

Our 5th grade Bulldogs became real scientists today as they dissected owl pellets in science class! 🦉🔬

Students carefully examined the pellets to identify bones and learn more about owl diets, food chains, and ecosystems. Hands-on learning at its best — love our Bulldogs and their excellent for learning!

Today, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office hosted D.A.R.E. Day alongside Stafford County Schools and Stafford County Fire and Rescue for our graduating fifth graders! Filled with fun, laughter and plenty of memories, this event brings together our community in support of our students like no other.

We have been so lucky to be able to see our RRES Bulldogs grow and flourish. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things they do as they venture into middle school! 👏💙

Our Bulldog SCA had a great year! 👏

With hard work and teamwork, they had a successful Socktober sock drive, food drive, added a Buddy Bench to the playground, held “read aloud” buddy classes with the younger Bulldogs, and so much more! 💙

For their last meeting they created a “We love Rocky Run Because..” board, to welcome all our new friends from Conway tomorrow night! 🐾

🚒 A big THANK YOU to our local firefighters and EMTs for visiting the 2nd grade team at Rocky Run Elementary School this week!

Students had a wonderful time learning important fire safety tips, exploring emergency equipment, and discovering how first responders help keep our community safe every day. 🩹🔥

We are so grateful for the time, care, and dedication our local heroes shared with our students. Thank you for making learning fun and memorable!❤️

Through the “Reading is Fundamental” volunteer event, special literacy bags were created for our K–2 students. Each bag includes 3 picture books, a bookmark, and fun coloring pages to encourage reading at home and spark a love of books.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this meaningful partnership possible and support our young readers! 📚✨
