Our great friends in Spotsylvania County sent in another letter to The Free Lance-Star this morning. Thank you for your support!
The generalized development plan and proffer statement that we submitted to the County ensures safe operations and sound mitigation at our proposed facility, and it’s our promise to uphold every condition of those documents. If we don’t comply, the Spotsylvania County Zoning Department will have the authority to revoke our special use permit, meaning no more operations. Just like Graham said in his letter, we will be held accountable to our proposal and subject to all applicable laws.
Please send any questions or comments to [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you!

We’re implementing a strict caliber limit on fi****ms allowed at the proposed Spotsylvania County facility. This means .50 caliber rounds will be prohibited on the property. Additionally, we’re prohibiting high explosives as defined and regulated by the Alcohol, To***co, Fi****ms, and Explosives Bureau. We take the community’s concerns seriously because that’s what good neighbors do.

We don't want to burden our neighbors at the proposed Spotsylvania facility. That's why we're limiting firing range training Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to no later than two hours after sunset or 10 p.m., whichever is earlier. On weekends, firing range training will be limited to 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sundays.

We are grateful to have great friends in Thornburg. We realize that several neighbors had concerns with our project. That’s why we took a year to step back and come up with a better design that addressed those concerns. We think you’ll like our new plan and the additional safety features. We look forward to continuing to build relationships with all our neighbors across Spotsylvania County for many years to come. Thank you for your support!
