Inspired after spending the morning at the EmpowerHer Conference in Fredericksburg ( ).

There’s something powerful about being in a room full of women committed to growing, leading, and showing up fully—both professionally and personally.

The conversations throughout the day were grounded, honest, and incredibly relevant:

Setting boundaries without guilt
Prioritizing self-care as a leadership necessity (not a luxury)
Redefining success through failure
And a simple but powerful mantra: Accept It, Change It, or Move On
Each session was a reminder that leadership isn’t just about what we do—it’s about how we sustain ourselves while doing it.

Grateful to have attended the Virginia CEOs Luncheon at University of Richmond as a guest of . It was a truly classy and thoughtfully curated event.

A highlight of the afternoon was hearing from Kristin Cavallo, whose reflections on leadership across creative environments, organizational culture, and talent management were both insightful and refreshingly candid. Her perspective reinforced the importance of adaptability—meeting people and teams where they are while still driving performance and innovation.
