Senior Spotlight 🎓💙

Meet RA Haley! Haley is a Sociology major with an Urban Studies and Contemplative Studies minor. She has been on our Residence Life and Housing Team for three years and when asked what her favorite memory during her time as an RA she said, “Playing Hide n’ Seek with residents and talking for hours out my window! I’ll always cherish the lifelong friendships I’ve made while in my role!”

Meet SRA Ada who is majoring in Philosophy Pre-Law and has worked for the Residence Life and Housing team for 3 years! When we asked her what was something that she loved when being part of this team she talked about the friends she made on staff and the adventures that she went on with them.

Meet RA Kailee, who is a Business Administration major! Kailee has been part of our Residence Life and Housing team for 2 years! When asked what her favorite memory is, she said, “I am most grateful for the relationships I made in taking on this role, from my fellow RAs to the residents I was assigned to, I feel like they made my work worthwhile.”

Meet RA Aloysious! Aloysious is majoring in Mathematics with a concentration in Data Science and he has worked for Residence Life and Housing for 3.5 years! Something that Aloysious really loved about being a part of our team is “having a shoulder to lean on during the difficult times both on and off the job.”

Meet RA Angela, a Mathematics major and an Education Studies minor! Angela has been working for Residence Life and Housing for 2 years and something that she has loved about being a part of the team is the opportunity it gave her to meet and connect with people across campus. She said, “It gave me a community of RAs to lean on and learn from , and I was able to create my own community on my floor where I met some amazing residents.”

Meet RA Caity who is majoring in Early Elementary Education! Caity has been with Residence Life and Housing for 2 years! When asked what her favorite memory during their time in the department she said “When I brought all the dogs to campus for my RA event, it was such a great experience, I really bonded with my residents that day.” She also loved building a community in her building and felt like she not only supported her residents but they were supporting her too!

Meet RA Oscar who is a Computer Science major with a minor in Law and Philosophy! Oscar has been part of the Residence Life and Housing team for 2 years! When asked a favorite memory of his he said “helping residents during move-in my first year as an RA.” He enjoyed assisting residents and their families with their move-in along with other RAs and found it so rewarding!

From the moment a student begins their on campus to experience, to the day they move out of their residence hall after Graduation, RAs are there to support, build community, and engage with their peers.
