As a reminder, our summer office hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Thursday.

Our schools and offices are closed on Fridays.

Our in-person hours are 8am to 4pm, while virtual office hours begin at 7am and continue until 5pm.

Summer is a great time to recharge minds and bodies. This week, try one small wellness activity at home:

Small routines can make a big difference in supporting mental wellness all summer long. 💚

Shoutout to these WGMS EL students who earned a composite score of 4.4 or better on the WIDA Access Test this year! They will be monitors for the next four years and fully exit the ESL program. Great job Tigers! 🔥

This week, our wonderful students participated in the , demonstrating their expressive and creative skills through shape and color! As we celebrate the close of the year, we look back on these experiences in wonder of our amazingly talented kiddos! 💕

Yesterday, our students welcomed the seniors as they performed their senior walk at WGMS! Seniors, and Tigers, we are immensely proud of you all, and ever so excited to be part of your family. Congratulations, and happy summer! See you next year 😏🥸

Congrats are in order! Cadence Rubin-Halterman won the Peace Poster Contest with her poster based on the theme “Together as One.” She moved on and also won at the district level! She has now won at the state level as well! Cadence will next compete at the national level for the chance to continue on to the international level. We are incredibly proud of her hard work, creativity, and achievement!

Last night, our 8th graders attended their promotion ceremony, highlighting their hard work over the last academic year that has led them to growth and success. As majestic as it felt is as magic as these kiddos are, and we couldn't be happier to boast about them! Go Tigers!

Reminder: FCPS schools and offices will be closed Monday, May 25. Students return Tuesday, May 26.

Friday, May 29, is the last day of school and will be an early dismissal day for students. 🎉
