To prepare competent upcoming home health care professionals who will improve the health and quality Cardinal Institute for Health Careers, L.L.C.
is exclusively focused on providing Home Health Care educational programs to the adult residents of our extensive service area that includes: City of Fredericksburg, and the Counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, Caroline, Henrico, Orange, Louisa, and, Fauquier. Our students have concern for their community and the elderly and disabled who want to remain safely “Aging in Place” in their homes. Placing our students and our community first is the key to being a successful enterprise.

UPDATE: CIHC and CTC are educational institutions. Therefore, we are NOT part of the Phase One ReOpening in Virginia, which begins on May 15th.

Thank you for your interest in Cardinal Institute for Health Careers. Cardinal is closed due to Governor's Executive Order, which he recently extended to June 10th. We're not sure when we will be allowed to reopen.
Unfortunately, we all need to be patience. I know this is a difficult time for everyone but CIHC will be back as soon as possible. I will keep everyone up to date with the plans as information is available.
At this time and when the Governor's orders permit, resumption of courses is anticipated with the following programs:
Phlebotomy
Nurse Aide
Medication Aide
Personal Care Aide
CPR

CORONAVIRUS CLOSING:
By now, you have heard of the COVID 19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, that has arrived in the United States. We have been monitoring the outbreak of this respiratory illness, its status, as well as recommendations from the Federal government, the CDC, and the Virginia Department of Health.
The safety of students, Instructors, and staff are of the utmost concern to us. Out of an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to suspend all current educational courses and planned future programs, effective today, Friday, March 13, 2020.
Please know it is our intention to resume courses soon as it is safe for everyone.
The is a fluid and evolving situation with many unknowns.
We will keep you posted of any and all updates.
We are hoping the need for the suspension will be resolved soon.

Cardinal Institute for Health Careers (CIHC) will be CLOSED on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The rest of Christmas week, CIHC will be open limited hours.
Cardinal Testing Center will be Closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will reopen on Thursday, December 26th.
