RCHS had a wonderful time at the Virginia Resolved event at Stratford Hall on Sunday. Thanks to everyone who attended the event and learned more about our nations history.

RCHS was formed in January 2000 by a small group of dedicated people interested in getting the word out about the rich colonial heritage of Fredericksburg and the surrounding area. Fredericksburg has long been known for its Civil War heritage, but there is so much more here than that and we want people to know about

RCHS had the privilege to participate in a filming event that took place yesterday at Stratford Hall. The film, when finished, is to be used in the visitors center to give the visitors an emursive experience being at the table with people of Stratford Hall.

On Saturday, April 25, 10:00-2:00 RCHS will participate in the Drums Along the Rappahannock event at Ferry Farm. This is a military-focused event cosponsored by the Stafford Historical Society for VA250. There will be two drum corps and blacksmith demos.
RCHS will be participating in an event in Historic Port Royal on Saturday April 18 from 10:00-3:00 Voices of Revolution: Patriot & Crown. It will be outdoors, on the grounds of the museum (506 Main St., Port Royal, 22535) and will feature interpreters of Patrick Henry and Lord Dunmore.
