Yamaha Music School of Fredericksburg

Kantida Tantayanurak began her music studies at Fredericksburg Yamaha Music School in 2015. Her classroom teacher was Elin Adamson Havrilla. She has studied privately with Nathalie Steinbach for the past nine years.

Tina earned 75 point gold cups from the National Federation of Music Clubs in piano solo/Concerto as well as composition. Additionally she earned gold cups in American Patriotic and Folk Songs.

Over the past few years, she has earned five monetary awards from the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs Junior Composers Contest. Tina has been an active participant in numerous Rappahannock Music Society recitals and festivals. This year she earned a nine year ribbon for the Sonata Festival

Tina will attend the University of Virginia in the fall

We have a couple additional recitals to share: two Senior Recitals! First up, Isabelle Fannin.

Isabelle began her music studies at fredericksburg Yamaha Music School in 2015. Her first teacher was Elin Adamson Havrilla. She has studied privately with Nathalie Steinbach for nine years.

She earned 75 point gold cups in piano solo and composition from the National Federation of Music Clubs. She participated in the Rappahannock Music Society Jazz, Rags, and Blues festivals, and Sonata festivals for nine years. Isabelle is also the recipient of monetary awards from the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs Junior Composers Contest.

Recitals continue this week. Two groups of Junior Extension students; last group graduated from Yamaha classes tonight!

A second evening of class recitals featured a Junior Music Course Book 3 student group and a guest performer.

Tonight, 15 private students of Nathalie Steinbach, Lilian Riley, and Elin Adamson Havrilla presented their end-of-year recital. Awards for the VFMC Junior Composers Contest, Rappahannock Music Society Sonata-Sonatina Festival and National Federation of Music Clubs Junior Music Festival were presented to our outstanding students.
