MHS FFA has been hard at work preparing our submission for the State Fair—but this year, we also need our community’s help!
Career and Technical Education is strongest when schools and community partners work together. Local businesses, organizations, and skilled community members can support our students by:
• Providing hands-on demonstrations
• Presenting at career fairs
• Participating in virtual career chats
• Serving as mentors or training partners
• Donating materials or funding student projects
• Helping us obtain items in bulk for our annual December Gifts for Kids campaign, which promotes economic stability and agricultural literacy
No role is too small. You do not have to work in traditional agriculture to make a difference!
Do you own or represent a business? Could you demonstrate equipment, sprayers, production tools, technology, or workplace practices? Could you mentor students, share your career journey, provide materials, or help fund a meaningful project?
Our community is rich in knowledge, skills, businesses, and resources. Let’s put those strengths to work supporting our young people. Instead of simply worrying about the challenges facing today’s youth, we can become part of the solution—one opportunity, conversation, and connection at a time.
