We Remember ❤️🤍💙
On 9.11.26 FCPS and our Preschool Programs in honor of Patriot Day paused to remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed that day.
On the 25th anniversary, we dressed in red, white, and blue to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who responded and those we lost.
We remember. We honor. We stand together. ❤️🤍💙

❤️🤍💙 Showing our patriotic spirit! ❤️🤍💙

Central Office staff joined together today by wearing red, white, and blue in recognition of Patriot Day.

It was a simple but meaningful way to come together as we remember, reflect, and honor the significance of September 11.

Today, Fredericksburg City Public Schools joins communities across the nation in observing Patriot Day.

We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans whose courage and selflessness were demonstrated in the face of tragedy. We also reflect on the unity, compassion, and resilience that brought people together in the days that followed.

The Freedom Flag serves as a lasting symbol of remembrance, with each element of its design representing a part of September 11, including the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, first responders, and the lives lost that day.

As we fly the Freedom Flag, we remember the past, honor those who served, and help ensure that future generations understand the significance of September 11.

This week, our Preschool Penguin Team went GOLD in support of Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and the incredible work of The Fairy Godmother Project! 💛✨🎗️

We were proud to show our support for children and families in our community who are facing childhood cancer. We are especially thankful for all that The Fairy Godmother Project does to provide love, support, resources, and encouragement to children and families during the most difficult times of their lives.

Our Penguin Pride Team is proud to stand together, spread awareness, and show that even small acts of support can make a BIG difference! 💛🐧 🎗️
