Spotsylvania County Public Schools Preschool Programs goal is to provide high-quality preschool education for qualifying children of Spotsylvania County.
Preschool Programs are located in various elementary schools within the county. Head Start and Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) provides preschool for the children of Spotsylvania County who will be age four on or before September 30th for the school year prior to kindergarten. Both programs are based on income and other child and family factors.

Ms.Hudson & Mrs.O’Gorman’s class celebrated Fancy Day in style today at Wilderness Elementary. Our friends dressed up in their fanciest outfits and proudly paraded through the hallways. From sparkly dresses to sharp suits, everyone looked so cute and absolutely adorable! ❤️💌❤️

Mrs. O'Gorman’s class at Wilderness Elementary and Mrs. Schwartz’s class at Salem Elementary enjoyed a delightful visit from Ms. Ellis yesterday and today. She read The Very Hungry Caterpillar and helped the students create tasty fruit kabobs, which they really enjoyed!🍇🍓🍊🫐🍌
