Highlights from Yesterday’s Beginner Fi****ms Safety Class 🔥
Another outstanding class at Legacy Fi****ms Training! It was great to see students from different backgrounds come together with one goal: learning firearm safety, knowledge, and fundamentals.
One of the highlights of the day was having two sisters decide to take the class together. Learning alongside family can make the experience even more rewarding, and both came ready to learn, ask questions, and build confidence.
Throughout the class, students gained hands-on experience with:
✅ Firearm safety rules
✅ Proper grip and stance
✅ Safe firearm handling
✅ Loading and unloading procedures
✅ Firearm terminology and fundamentals
✅ Virginia concealed carry requirements
Everyone was engaged, asked great questions, and left with a stronger foundation for responsible firearm ownership.

Highlights from this weekend’s Gun Cleaning Class 🔧🔥
For some students, this was their first time ever taking their firearm apart and learning how to properly clean and maintain it. From safety checks to disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly, everyone came ready to learn.
A clean firearm is a reliable firearm. Knowledge and confidence matter.

🚨 Virginia Gun Owners: Here’s the quick breakdown of SB749 going into effect July 1, 2026 🚨
▪️ Certain semiautomatic rifles, pistols, and shotguns classified as “assault fi****ms” can no longer be bought, sold, transferred, or manufactured in VA.
▪️ Magazines over 15 rounds are also banned from sale/transfer.
▪️ If you already legally own these fi****ms/magazines BEFORE July 1, 2026, you are generally grandfathered in and can keep them.
▪️ Moving to VA after July 1 with banned items could become an issue.
▪️ Violations can lead to criminal charges and loss of firearm rights/CHP rights.
▪️ Law enforcement and some licensed dealers/manufacturers are exempt.
Bottom line: If you own fi****ms affected by this bill, stay informed on what qualifies, what’s grandfathered, and what future restrictions may apply.
