Building AOPA's future is an ongoing conversation, and the next chapter is here.
AOPA has published proposed bylaw revisions that members will vote on at a special meeting September 19 at the National Aviation Community Center, Frederick Municipal Airport, Maryland. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m., with lunch to follow.
If approved, these updates would empower members to nominate trustees, set new qualifications for trustee service, introduce term limits, and open the door to online voting in future elections — the most meaningful governance change since AOPA's founding.
Attend in person or appoint a proxy if you can't be there. Review the proposed changes and get all the details: aopa.org/about/governance/special-meeting
