The History of the Great Frederick Fair, a three-week course with Chris Haugh of History Shark Productions, begins Wednesday August 26th and runs Sept 2nd and 9th from 6-8pm. Class costs $59 and will be held at the Key Memorial Chapel at Mount Olivet Cemetery. HSP walking tour of Mount Olivet with Chris Haugh is coming up on Saturday morning, July 11th (9-11am) and will feature notable individuals of the 1900s-Present. We will visit several gravesites including those of a world-renowned fashion designer, the "Used Car King of Maryland," a member of the "National Radio Hall of Fame," Maryland's Prettiest Girl of 1915 and the guy who gave us the Barbara Fritchie Candystick Restaurant of yesteryear. $20/person and walk-ups welcome as we will meet beforehand at the World War 1 Memorial Gazebo in Area T,U, S in middle of cemetery within sight of Harry Grove Stadium.
