We had some fun activities while learning about forest animals andnwinter exploration. Open ended activities using unusual tools to create with.

Winter time activities today.
Todays story was The Snowman Magic. For an extention of the story we had an open ended snowman making table with creative math fun and a writing/illustrating table to create stories about our own snowmen. This week we are learning about forest animals like deer, hedgehogs, bears, and snow owls. Today we made deer headbands for dramatic play. The deers all ended up having a picnic in the woods. So fun!

We've been having fun with learning about our community helpers. These are just a couple of our sweet dentist, construction workers, and restaurant owners.
