It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved teacher, Dr. P. (Dr. David Pietropaoli.)

More than an exceptional Latin instructor, he was a cornerstone of the FCCS community—an indispensable presence whose influence touched every corner of our school. Dr. P was profoundly admired and cherished by his scholars, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mr. LaRose’s 5th grade students recently practiced taking accurate scientific measurements using meter sticks, beakers, graduated cylinders, and triple-beam balances. By comparing qualitative and quantitative observations, they learned the importance of precision in scientific investigations.

We are excited to celebrate Caleb Saunders as he prepares to begin the next chapter of his academic journey at Texas A&M University's College of Engineering, where he will study Aerospace Engineering. Caleb plans to further strengthen his education through Minors in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Caleb's dedication, strong work ethic, and love of learning—further cultivated during his time at the Frederick Classical Charter School—have positioned him for future success. We are proud to call him an FCCS alumnus and look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the years ahead. Congratulations Caleb!
