Learning Chinese has been an incredible journey for me, but it wasn’t without its challenges. As I worked through my HSK levels, I found it nearly impossible to find graded readers that matched my level. Every story I came across, whether online or in print, included vocabulary from higher HSK levels. Instead of reinforcing the words I had already learned, I was constantly struggling with new words that I wasn’t ready for. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and create Graded Chinese Reader. On my website, I’ve made stories available that are grouped strictly by HSK levels, using only the vocabulary for that specific level. These stories have been a huge part of my daily practice, and I've personally seen my vocabulary and skills improve dramatically over time. Now, I'm sharing them with other learners for free, so you can also focus on building your vocabulary without the overwhelm of new, unfamiliar words. I’m proud of the progress I’ve made, and I hope these stories can help you on your journey too.
