Katherine earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Hood College through the 4PLUS program, graduating magna cm laude. An accounting professional at LandCare, Katherine supports both financial operations and client accounts.

We are of Itunuoluwa, a recent graduate from Hood’s undergraduate program, who will be returning for their Masters in Information Technology.

Congratulations to Shannon, the 2026 recipient of The Parrott-Anderson Outstanding Counseling Student Award. We are of you!

Shannon is a counseling professional with experience supporting clients across their lifespan through her year-long internship at Creative Psychological Health Services. She also works as a personal trainer at Merritt Clubs, blending her passion for fitness with her counseling skills. At Hood College, Shannon held multiple leadership roles and was the First Place winner of the 3-Minute Thesis competition. She has received multiple merit scholarships, as well as induction into Phi Kappa Phi for academic excellence.

Congratulations to Madelyn, the 2026 recipient of The Frederick W. and Lenora E. Diezel MBA Student Award. We are of you!

Madelyn is currently an Assistant Brand Manager at Utz Brands. She is a double Blazer with a distinguished academic record as both an undergraduate and an MBA student. Madelyn earned her undergraduate degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resources and Marketing, along with a minor in Economics. She received an MBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management in January 2026. The Dietzel Award recognizes her research excellence and competencies in environmental alignment, financial statement analysis and strategic planning.

Congratulations to Therese, the 2026 recipient of The Dr. Elizabeth Mayfield Outstanding Mathmatics Student Award. We are of you!

Therese is a mathematics teacher at Urbana High School, where she is dedicated to supporting student learning and achievement in math education. She recently completed a comprehensive portfolio in preparation for National Board Certification, which would recognize her as an advanced teacher at the national level upon completion.
