THE TEMPLE’s instructors—we call them “Learning Leaders”— are trained to draw out the artist in you, while teaching you the discipline and skills necessary to compete in the real world. Rather than concentrate only on the basic training needed to pass the Maryland Cosmetology Board Exams, THE TEMPLE provides you with a well-rounded “lifestyle” education, grounded in the real- world experiences of our Learning Leaders. Every one of our experienced staff is there to help students—known as “Future Professionals”—explore all their creative and professional possibilities. THE TEMPLE’s talented Learning Leaders provide extensive hands-on and classroom instruction, training you in attitude, salesmanship, and personal appearance. We strive to go beyond the “typical” cosmetology education by evoking all levels of the industry from business management skills, to retailing, to time management.
