Hope this finds you all having a great summer so far. I wanted to send out a quick reminder about next week's class get-together. The plan is to meet up on Thursday, August 1st, from 2:00-3:00 at Crist Park (the one next to Mug & Pye). We will provide the ice cream. Please bring your own drinks. I am looking forward to hearing about all of the kids' fun summer adventures.

The plan is to meet up from 12:00-1:30 at Crist Park (the one next to Mug & Pye). We will provide the pizza. Please bring your own drinks, your child's summer reading and writing journal, and maybe a blanket or chair to sit on. I am looking forward to hearing about all of the kids' fun summer adventures. Don't forget prizes will be given out for summer reading! (There was a reading bingo page included in the journal.)

Can't believe another school year has come to a close! Parents - thank you for sharing your kiddos with me. I have learned so much from all of them. Have fun this summer!

We have a new at home reading program to share with our families. The MyOn reading program allows students to access thousands of books online - - at their reading level. Students have been practicing logging into program this week. Watch for general info and student logins in your child's Friday Folder on Thursday, 11/15/12. This coming week would be a great time to get started on this program with your child!

Hello! As a class we've earned 1,000 Frederick Five's - way to go!! This means we get to wear our pajamas to school tomorrow (11/2). You child may also wear slippers, just make sure you send tennis shoes for recess and PE. One more note - the Believe Kids fundraiser items will be delivered to our school this FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2nd.
Please arrange a ride for your child after school if they have a large number of items ordered or have frozen food items. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Wednesday: Too Cool to Do Drugs-wear your cool sunglasses or shades
Thursday: Being Drug Free is No Sweat-wear your sweats
Friday: Team Up Against Drugs-wear your favorite team jersey or shirt
