UPDATE: Great News! Tier 2 Funding Applications for the 2026-2027 PreK School Year are being accepted beginning today. Tier 2 funding is only available for 4 year olds and the child must turn 4 by September 1, 2026. Families whose income levels are between 301% to 450% of the 2026 Poverty Guidelines (see qualifying chart) qualify for free, Maryland State Department of Education approved, high quality preschool for 6.5 hours a day for 180 days.
