🌞 Need a place to cool off? 🌞

With high temperatures expected this week, the City of Frederick Cooling Center will be open to provide a safe, air-conditioned space for anyone needing relief from the heat.

💧 Free water and refreshments will be available.

A Rain Train! The rain doesn't stop Judy Center families! We welcomed 166 people from The Judy Center Early Learning Hub at Waverley Elementary and Judy Center Early Learning Hub Lincoln Elementary on board today for an afternoon of Frederick history, farmland, and excitement!

We hopped aboard the Walkersville Southern Railroad and Museum for a rainy day excursion full of sites and sounds! Chugga chugga, clickety clack, thunder, lightening, voices talking, and voices cheering when the Engineer blew the train horn.

With the weather, we didn't get to the park for storytime but we still had a great time. Miss Casey and Mr. Brian were amazing hosts, answering questions, and helping our families to move inside and when we served lunch.

Memorable time for sure!
