This week, hundreds of teens and adult volunteers participating in Baltimore WorkCamp are making a lasting impact across Frederick and Washington counties by providing much-needed home repairs for elderly and disabled residents.

We're especially proud that our very own school nurse, Mrs. Froude, is serving as a volunteer this week alongside several St. John Regional Catholic School alumni! Their dedication to living out their faith through service is a wonderful example of the values we strive to instill in our students every day.

From repairing floors and painting homes to installing wheelchair-accessible walkways and safe electrical service, these volunteers are answering Christ's call to serve others with compassion, generosity, and joy.

Their days begin with Mass and prayer before heading out to serve, reminding us that faith is not only something we believe. It is something we live.

Thank you, Mrs. Froude, our alumni, and all the volunteers who are sharing God's love through your hands and hearts. We are so proud of you!

🌟 Teacher Spotlight Tuesday: Meet Mrs. Falzarano! 🌟

With 10 years of teaching experience and 3 years at SJRCS, Mrs. Falzarano brings passion, faith, and dedication to her students each day as she teaches Math, ELA, and Religion.

🙏 Favorite Saint:
Padre Pio

🐶 If she weren't a teacher:
She'd be a stay-at-home dog mom, a dream job for any dog lover!

👂 Hidden Talent:
She can wiggle her ears. (A talent that definitely deserves a classroom audience!)

✈️ Summer Plans:
Traveling to beautiful San Diego with her husband and making memories together.

Mrs. Falzarano is a wonderful example of faith, kindness, and commitment, helping students grow academically and spiritually each day. Thank you for sharing your gifts with our SJRCS family. We are blessed to have you! 💙💛

🚧✨ Exciting Progress at SJRCS! ✨🚧

The transformation has begun! Construction is officially underway on our new vestibule, an important project that will enhance the safety, security, and welcoming environment of our school.

While things may look a little different over the coming weeks, we are excited to watch this vision come to life and create an even better experience for our students, families, staff, and visitors.

We are grateful for the support of our school community and look forward to sharing updates as progress continues.
