We’re of Omar Aboul-Enein who has joined the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as a computer scientist in August 2021.

We’re to feature Reham Eltomy, a current international graduate student in the science in information technology program at Hood College. Reham also serves as the President of the Hood College Graduate Student Association.

We are to feature Professor Daniel Sierra-Sosa an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Hood College. Dr. Sierra-Sosa was instrumental in the signing of a new partnership MOU with IBM that will allow Hood College to use IBM Skills Academy material in its courses.

Congratulations to the Department of Computer Science & IT professors Roth and Pierce. Their paper "Bringing Harmony to Computational Science Pedagogy" was accepted for presentation at the 2020 International Conference On Computational Science (ICCS)

•Michael Hodge - RANK: 199 out of 3,498 competitors (top 6%)
•Seth Wilson - RANK: 815 out of 3,498 competitors (top 24%)
•Sanket Lange* - RANK: 1,480 out of 3,498 competitors (top 43%)

*first time participating in any cyber Capture The Flag (CTF) competition.
