Clubhouse Kids school-age Summer Camp 2025 enrollment is open! Warm weather is coming soon! Don't delay, enroll now!

As always, camp kids are scheduled for 3 trips per week throughout summer. These trips are: twice per week to the pool, and one "bigger" trip each week. Bigger trips include destinations like Chuck E. Cheese, Catoctin Zoo, Earth Space Science Lab, Regal Westview Stadium 16 movie theater, Hot Fired Arts, Ledo Pizza & Dairy Queen, and more!

A $35 deposit per enrolled camp week reserves your child's spot in the selected weeks, with the remaining balance due weekly throughout summer. And we accept CCS tuition assistance (vouchers) to help families pay their tuition!

Don't delay...camp spots that are available today may become full by tomorrow!

Hi Clubhouse Kids families!

FCPS has announced a 2-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th, with a re-evaluation in the morning in case conditions (such as drifting snow) cause the need for a closure instead. This means we must wait until the FCPS re-evaluation has occurred before a final opening status for Clubhouse Kids can be announced.

However,

1. If after the re-evaluation FCPS stays with a 2-hour delay for schools/students, then all CHK centers will open at 8:30am. Our CHK @ Gas House Pike center would open at 8:30am for our Little Ones care, and our in-school centers would open at 8:30am for normal school-age care until they are dismissed to their school at their school's delayed-opening start time.

2. If after the re-evaluation FCPS changes to schools closed for students for the day, then our CHK @ Gas House Pike center would open at 8:30am for all ages (including school-age care), with all in-school CHK centers closed for the day. However, if the number of school-age children is high enough, we may transport them 2-buildings over (in the same office park) to our CHK @ FCCS center for the day.

3. If after the re-evaluation FCPS changes to another scenario other than numbers #1 or #2 above, we will announce our opening status in an email to parents in the morning.

We hope everyone had a relaxing (and/or fun) day!

We will open our Gas House Pike center tomorrow morning at 10:00am for all ages, HOWEVER we have limited space for school-age children, and our school-age room may become full which would force us to turn away some school-age children for the day, once we reach max capacity.

Our in-school locations will not be able to open tomorrow.

If you plan to bring your child to Clubhouse Kids tomorrow (any age), please reply to this email message asap with you child's name and the approximate drop-off and pick-up times for tomorrow. School-age children must receive a reply email message from us with approval to attend before heading to the center. Please understand that we may need a few minutes to send a reply.

Hi Clubhouse Kids families. As you are probably aware, due to the snowstorm affecting the Frederick area, FCPS schools are closed today, January 6, 2025, as well as FCPS Administrative Offices.

Because FCPS Admin Offices are closed, this means all Clubhouse Kids centers will be closed today also.

Regarding Tuesday, January 7th, if FCPS Administrative Offices close, then we would close also, and we would sent a message to parents for confirmation. But we will wait to see how badly the storm hits the area, and what FCPS decides for Tuesday.

Due to the forecasted snow today, FCPS schools and Admin Offices are closing 2-hours early.

This means all Clubhouse Kids locations will also close 2-hours early today.

Please be sure to leave plenty of extra time for traffic and delays when travelling to the center for pick up. If it seems that you will not be able to pick up by 4.30pm, please contact a person listed on your submitted Emergency Card and have them pick up your child for you.

School-age children at schools with on-site Clubhouse Kids care will go to Clubhouse Kids at the school early dismissal time for after school care, and MUST be picked-up by 4.30pm-sharp.

Clubhouse Kids van-riding children will be picked-up at their school early dismissal time and taken to their normal Clubhouse Kids after care center, and MUST be picked-up by 4.30pm-sharp.

Our Little Ones at our Gas House Pike center will follow their normal schedule today, but MUST be picked-up by our early closure time of 4.30pm-sharp.

Summer Camp Fun 2024 continues on, from Creative Arts week, to Animals, Animals Everywhere week (including an actual visiting Petting Zoo with ponies, goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks, etc.), to a Magic with Drew's Blues Shoes performance, Clubhouse Kids has it all!!

Summer Camp 2024 is off to a GREAT start!! Preschool has daily hands on learning activities, weekly themes and playtime fun while our school age group is out and about participating in weekly field trips, 3x per week, and enjoying weekly theme day activities and events the other two days per week!! 😀

We apologize for the delay. FCPS was late posting their opening status decision, which made us late posting ours.

Hi Clubhouse Kids families. Due to the weather, FCPS has announced that schools and Admin Offices are on a 2-hour Delayed-Opening today, Tuesday 2/13/2024, with a re-evaluation by 7:00am. This puts Clubhouse Kids on a "hold" until after their re-evaluation.

--- If after the re-evaluation, FCPS stays with the 2-hour Delayed Opening, then all Clubhouse Kids centers will open at 9:00am providing care as normal (care for school-age children will continue until dismissed to school for their delayed-opening school day).

--- If after the re-evaluation, FCPS announces that schools will be closed for the day and that FCPS Administrative Offices will open, then our Gas House Pike center will open for Little Ones care at 9:00am.
All-day care for up to 30 school-age children will be available at our Gas House Pike center beginning at 9:00am. Parents of school-age children MUST email us at [email protected] to reserve a spot for their child, and must receive a reply email from us before proceeding to the center.

--- If after the re-evaluation, FCPS announces that schools will be closed for the day and that FCPS Administrative Offices will be closed for the day, then all Clubhouse Kids centers will also be closed for the day.
