SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE!! Let us help make your car look its best for the summer!

Come to the Gym Loop at TJ next to Rose Hill between 1 and 4 on Saturday, June 6th to get your car washed by the TJ Marching Band!

All donations support these wonderful and hard working students as they prepare for their next season of Marching Band!

We are looking to add a talented and dedicated Drumline instructor to with with our award winning Marching Band and Indoor Percussion programs!

Anyone interested in the position should contact our band director, Mr. Nicholas Gasemy through the info on the post.

On this day, we celebrate all mothers and mother figures out there! We obviously have a special place in our heart for our band moms who help make our Program run as smoothly as it can! From pit crew, to Band Boosters, to uniforms, to props, to chaperones, to cheering us from the stands, the sideline and everywhere in between...thank you!

With a score of 88.075, 3rd place in the 2026 KIDA Percussion Championships Scholastic A Class Competiton.... Governor Thomas Johnson High School!!!

Our second consecutive medal in our 2 years as a competitive ensemble is definitely a great feeling especially knowing we were in a larger and more competitive class!

Congratulations to everyone involved at Percussion Championships, especially our FCPS friends at Linganore High School (1st place A Class Concert Percussion), Western Frederick Indoor Percussion (2nd place Scholastic A Class), and Urbana High School (6th Place Scholastic A Class)!

The Marching Arts are so much more than the notes on a page, the flags in the air, and the formations from chart to performance space. They are hours of dedication and love from every performer, parent, teacher, and volunteer. They are the commradarie and family that is created. They are the shared emotions between the performers and their audience. They are bonds that last a lifetime.

March Fourth is a day for everyone to celebrate their involvement in these wonderful activities whether you are a current performer, alumni, parent, volunteer, teacher, or an audience member.

So, from our TJ Band Family to yours, happy !
