Have you ever felt this way about feeding your kids?
The constant feeling of being overwhelmed, unsure what to do next, and discouraged by the slow progress?
Feeling like you’re always having the same battles at meals?
If so, here’s the twist:
Sometimes the answer isn’t adding MORE things to your plate… it’s about stopping the things that are keeping your child stuck.
(Swipe through to see the 5 things I stopped doing, and save this post for later!)
I get we hear so much about what we SHOULD be doing to help our kids try new foods…that we often forget about the things we SHOULDN’T be doing.
In my own journey as a Mom, I was overwhelmed with meals. I got into a rut of just serving broccoli in the air fryer because my boys LOVED it. I kept repeating this veggie, thinking it would take something off my mental load… but then when I served any different veggies, they didn’t want anything to do with them.
But it wasn’t until I started adding variety again and making it fun, that I noticed something amazing:
They actually started expecting new foods. They didn’t panic or refuse as much. And I felt more confident and less stressed about meals.
That was my AHA moment… and now I want the same for you.
So if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or stuck, I hope these support YOU in your journey.
