This morning, three Catoctin programs (Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse) had the opportunity to serve our community by volunteering at Stuff the Bus alongside FCPS Maryland and United Way of Frederick County, Maryland.

Our student-athletes helped load school buses with donated supplies, connected with members of the FCPS community, and even had the chance to be interviewed by local media and participate in event coverage.

Moments like these go far beyond the field or court. They help shape the kind of young men and women we’re proud to represent, leaders who understand the importance of serving others, giving back, and making a positive impact in their community.

A huge thank you to everyone who organized the event and to our athletes for representing Catoctin with class.

A good night's sleep is essential for student health and well-being. Make sure your student is well-rested so they can show up to school ready to learn and be engaged! The CDC recommends that children ages 6–12 get at least 9 hours of sleep each night.

FCPS is having audio difficulties for anyone viewing the August 5 FCPS Board of Education of Frederick County work session or meeting via FCPS.org or a mobile device.
