MACEM&PS showcases Emergency Management Partnerships at Statewide Forum ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿค

We participated as an exhibitor at the Maryland Department of Emergency Management- MDEM 2026 Whole Community Integration Forum at MDEM Headquarters.

Instructional Specialist Alan Lyons and Special Projects Manager Stephen Stuart Carter connected with attendees to share MACEM&PS capabilities, including contracting support, grant initiatives, and academic pathways within the Legal and Public Safety Career Community. They also engaged with partners across the state, including Christina Ferguson, head of MDEMโ€™s Nonprofit Engagement Program and a leader within the Whole Community Initiatives Branch.

This yearโ€™s forum, โ€œPartnering for the New Normal: A State-Led Disaster Forum,โ€ brought together public, private, nonprofit, and community partners to strengthen coordination for disaster response and recovery, identify emerging needs, and align resources across Maryland.

MACEM&PS at Frederick Community College is proud to support MDEM and Marylandโ€™s emergency management community ๐Ÿค
