🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I discovered this morning that my website contact form has been quietly dumping emails into a forgotten folder with no notification to me at all.
I have 106 messages over the course of the last YEAR that have gone unanswered. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
If you were one of the folks who reached out to me through my website, I am so sorry for the lack of response. Your questions, comments, and opportunities are important to me, and I want to answer your questions in a timely manner.
While I work through the backlog, I want to answer some common questions:
1) do you take commissions? Yes, ocassionally. I have a network of folks who I can connect you with if the commission isn't a great fit for ME.
2) Will you work with ME? Yes, Ms Caitlin's School of Blacksmithing is thoroughly inclusive. We feel especially honored to work with folks who need a bit of extra support to feel or be safe at the forge. That includes folks with disabilities, q***r folks, neurospicy people, young people, old people, people experiencing mental health stuff, people of any race, creed, nationality, background (including incarcerated people, veterans), people who don't speak English, uncoordinated people, people who struggle to learn quickly, and financial status. (Please note that being inclusive of all these humans and more does NOT mean that every behavior is acceptable, and we at Ms Caitlin's School of Blacksmithing DO adhere to the Society of Inclusive Blacksmiths Code of Conduct, and reserve the right to take appropriate action if a student engages in behavior that is unsafe or malicious.)
3) You can sign up for classes right on the website. I have a link on each page for folks to "Sign Up Now" or "Book Now". Clicking those links will allow you to see more information about the class offerings, including pricing, availability, and prerequisites. You can reschedule your class through a link in your confirmation email.
