🩺 Learning About “The Lady with the Lamp”! 🩺

Our Kindergarten students recently had a special visit from Mrs. Wanda and Ms. Patsy, nurses from Our Lady of the Angels and members of the LA Nurse Honor Guard! They taught our students all about Florence Nightingale, the famous “Lady with the Lamp,” who they learned about in their ELA unit.

We love making real-world connections to what we learn! A special thank-you to Mrs. Wanda and Ms. Patsy for sharing their time and knowledge with our Kindergarten students! 🐯❤️

Help us celebrate Mr. Anthony today!

Today we’re celebrating TES Principal Anthony Stubbs!

We asked our principals what they love most about leading their schools. Mr. Stubbs shared:

“What I love most about being principal is the opportunity to interact with our students every single day. Those moments are truly the highlight of my day. I value being able to build meaningful connections, support their growth, and create a positive environment where they feel seen and encouraged. Knowing that I can have a positive influence on their lives, even in small ways, is the most rewarding part of what I do.”

Thank you, Mr. Stubbs, for your leadership and dedication to the students, staff, & families of Thomas Elementary🐯
