Start small! Reading together for just a few minutes each day can make a big difference. Let your child point to pictures, ask questions, turn the pages, or even “read” the story in their own words.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s creating a fun, positive moment around books and helping your child build a love for reading early on!

We’re gearing up for a SWEET year of learning and there’s still time to enroll your child in Pre-K! 🍫🍭

Washington Parish families, mark your calendars! A FREE Early Childhood Screening Clinic will be held for children ages 3–5 on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at Franklinton Primary.

Screenings will be available for speech, language, health, behavior, vision, hearing, physical movement, and developmental delays.

Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are suggested.

This is a great opportunity to check in on your child’s growth and development and connect with helpful resources early!
