Today we’re celebrating MHS Interim Principal Jennifer Beninato!

We asked our principals what they love most about leading their schools. Mrs. Beninato shared:

“What I love most about being a principal is being right there with students and teachers every day. After spending several years supporting schools at the district level, being on a campus reminds me just how much the little things matter.

I love walking into classrooms, talking with students, encouraging teachers, solving problems, celebrating growth, and simply being there when someone needs support.

I believe in high expectations and accountability, but I also believe people need to know that someone sees their effort and believes in what they can accomplish.”

We are closely monitoring Hurricane Isaias and its potential impacts on our area. At this time, the forecast keeps the storm east of our area, and there are no changes to school operations for Friday, October 9.

In the event the forecast changes and conditions impact our area, families will be notified through the district communication system, website, and official social media pages.
