Parents' Club at GMS

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! Our new Parents' Club Grounds Chair, Lynn Casey, has been working so hard to beautify our school this summer, from hours literally pulling weeds by hand in the hot sun to driving around picking out plants to add to 27 new planters around the campus. Let's join together to give her a helping hand tomorrow night (Saturday, August 1, from 5-7 p.m.) to help freshen up our campus grounds for the new school year. She would love it if you could bring tools to help, especially a hedge trimmer and leaf blowers, hand trowels, pruners, and rakes. Special shout-out to Elder's Ace Hardware on Highway 100 and Fast's Greenery in Arrington for steep discounts on the plants!

Hey, all! The Grassland Games are coming up quickly and the school needs our help to make them a success. Here's how:

3. Talk with your child about whether they want to be part of a team. It is not required, but if they do, they will need to turn in their team form by end of school day on Monday. I included a copy of the team registration form in a post here on Monday.
