Lights on Afterschool!
Our Edventure students have been soaking in the science these past few weeks! Students at MVI learned about bacteria by safely growing bacterial cultures. Students at Mountain View and Cartoogechaye have been learning different propagation techniques by rooting Jade plants and planting seeds. South Macon students have been learning about our community helpers through the context of the 9-11 tragedy, and East Franklin/Iotla Valley students have been diving into Fall art projects and learning about teamwork.
The Macon County Afterschool Edventure Program is a licensed childcare program that accepts subsidy through NCDHHS. We currently have spaces, and funds are still available for subsidy. For more information, please call 828-524-3314.
